Cher Drops 'Ooga Boo'
Only Cher could get away with releasing a track called 'Ooga Boo.'

2017 is so wild. Just when you think things couldn’t get any weirder, GAP unveils its new commercial starring Cher and Future. In and of itself, that isn’t strange. It’s about time major brands had ambassadors of very different ages and backgrounds. However, I wasn’t ready for their duet. The odd couple tackle Sly & The Family Stone’s ’60s classic “Everyday People” — complete with lashings of autotune. (A nod to the legendary diva’s “Believe,” no doubt).

Cher does most of the singing while Future just sits there, which makes the whole thing even more bizarre. Oh, and did I mention that the commercial begins with a close-up of the 71-year-old’s pert behind? I don’t know if I love it or hate it, but I’m kind of glad this exists. I’m also extremely here for Cher’s resurgence. Her Twitter is literally iconic and she has blessed several soundtracks with new music of late. That gives me hope that we might get an official single at some point this year. Watch in awe up top.
