DNCE's 'DNCE': Album Review
Is DNCE's self-titled debut album a hit or a miss? We had mixed feelings in our review.

Joe Jonas covers the Autumn/Winter edition of Rollacoaster magazine, looking typically suave in a blue-and-white jacket and floral shirt. Apart from serving Blue Steel, the 28-year-old opens up about his cameo in Charli XCX’s “Boys” video in the accompanying interview. “I think it’s overdue for something like this to happen, hopefully it will change things up a little bit,” he says. The pop star also spoke about recording new music with DNCE. “I’m kind of taking advantage of this time that I do have at home and working with new songwriters and producers and really kind of developing myself in the studio and really just having a blast.”

“I’m not really 100 percent sure but if it’s up to me it’ll be sooner than later because I’m really loving the stuff that I’ve been working on and I’m excited for you all to hear it,” he concludes. Hopefully, Joe cooks up something as catchy and successful as “Cake By The Ocean,” which just racked up its one billionth stream. “The world’s moving so fast that streaming wasn’t even a thing back when I was with my brothers, so I guess to accomplish something like that on my own, with something new, makes it more special.”
