WALK THE MOON Announces Third LP ‘What If Nothing’ & North American Tour

Walk The Moon interview
The band is on a mission to revive the fist-pumping greatness of '80s pop/rock.

WALK THE MOON struck ’80s-influenced pop/rock gold with 2014 single “Shut Up And Dance.” The radio staple (I still hear it three times a day) climbed all the way to number four on the Billboard Hot 100 and sold triple platinum. That success lifted the Cincinnati band from cult faves to legitimate rock stars, and they spent the next two years promoting the record. How do you follow up a career-changing era? By bolding experimenting with new sounds. At least, if new single “One Foot” is any indication.

That sing-along anthem, which dropped last week and immediately surged into the iTunes top 30, is a little more electronic than previous singles. It will be interesting to see if that is a one-off or the template for their just-announced third major label LP. What If Nothing drops November 10 and is available to pre-order now. WALK THE MOON is supporting the album with a string of North American tour dates, which kick off in Charlotte, NC on November 19. See all the dates below. Get your tickets here.
