Demi Lovato Announces Joint North American Tour With DJ Khaled
Demi Lovato is hitting the road alongside DJ Khaled on a North American tour in support of her new LP, Tell Me You Love Me. The “Sexy Dirty Love” singer started teasing the news last night. This morning (October 26), she announced the tour and revealed that a special guest would be joining her. She followed that up with a promotional video highlighting the collaboration with the in-demand producer. “#theydidntwantustogoontourtogether #werecomingforyou #demixkhaled,” Demi tweeted to fans. Not the best use of hashtags ever, but the sentiment is clear.
The 25-year-old teamed up with her Lovatics to roll out tour dates on Twitter. She and Khaled will kick things off in San Diego on February 26. The pair will play 20 shows across the country, before closing things out in Tampa on March 31. Demi is no stranger to sharing the stage with another superstar on a joint tour. Just last year she embarked on the Future Now Tour with her BFF, Nick Jonas. She also made a surprise appearance during DJ Khaled’s iHeartRadio Music Festival set earlier this year.
Tell Me You Love Me is one of 2017’s strongest pop releases, and Demi is sure to bring the fire when she hits the stage to perform a bevy of new and old hits. DJ Khaled also enjoyed a breakout year finding massive success with his chart-topping single “I’m The One.” With their combined might, it is sure to be a hot ticket.
