Jennifer Lopez Sizzles Alongside Alex Rodriguez On ‘Vanity Fair’ Cover
Jennifer Lopez graces the latest issue of Vanity Fair magazine alongside her beau, Alex Rodriguez. They were photographed by Mario Testino and are a glowing power couple in the intimate pictures. On the cover, they simmer in black and white, holding each other close while posing in front of the ocean. Superimposed over the image is their couple name, “J-Rod.”
The other photos feature the duo in a variety of settings around a modern home. In one cheeky snap, A-Rod lifts up a bedazzled gown to reveal J.Lo’s equally bejeweled thong. Clearly the duo have a sense of humor and are comfortable flaunting that on camera.
In the pages of the magazine, the “Ain’t Your Mama” singer and the retired MLB superstar discussed the beginning of their relationship, their first date and how they work together. J.Lo revealed that she was the one who reached out to Alex after running into him in Beverly Hills. “I almost yelled out ‘Alex,’ but I am the shyest person when it comes to things like that,” she revealed. Instead, she worked up the bravery to walk up to him on the street and say hello. They exchanged phone numbers and set up a first date shortly after that.
“I didn’t know if it was a date,” Alex said before moving into baseball metaphors to break things down. “She told me around the third or fourth inning that she was single. I had to get up and go re-adjust my thoughts. I went to the bathroom and got enough courage to send her a text.” It read “You look sexy AF” and kicked off their relationship with a spark.
Since then the pair said that they developed a quick bond due to their similar lifestyles. “I understand him in a way that I don’t think anyone else could,” the 48-year-old hitmaker said. Click through the sexy snaps up top and check out a behind the scenes video down below.
