BTS Brings 'The Wings Tour' To LA: Review
BTS is the hottest act in K-Pop. We review their dazzling 'Wings Tour.'

K-Pop titans BTS are teaming up with Steve Aoki and Desiigner for a remix of their trap-infused banger, “Mic Drop.” The track was a fan favorite on their recently released LP, Love Yourself ‘Her,’ and the remix is sure to take things to the next level. Announced today (November 7), the collaboration is set to drop November 17 and is a gift for fans who helped the group achieve global success.

“The remix’s surprise release is to repay fans worldwide for their meaningful success and for showing BTS so much love during their most recent comeback,” management at BigHit Entertainment said in an official press release. The hip-hop sampling song was one of the hardest hitting on an album of iridescent pop hits, and it is an obvious choice for a feature from one of pop’s most in-demand DJs and the “Panda” rapper.

The release will come just two days before the K-Pop boy band takes the stage at the 2017 American Music Awards to perform their single, “DNA.” The track made history earlier this year when it became the highest-charting single from a K-Pop group on the Billboard Hot 100. If we are lucky, they will give us a sample of the newly released “Mic Drop” remix live as well!

Although they made an appearance at the Billboard Music Awards earlier this year, this will be their first performance at an American awards show. They’ll join the likes of Selena Gomez, Christina Aguilera, Demi Lovato and Kelly Clarkson, certifying their status as some of the most promising hitmakers on the scene.
