Jason Derulo & French Montana’s “Tip Toe” Is Insanely Danceable

Jason Derulo continues his club takeover on the French Montana-assisted “Tip Toe.” Released today (November 10), the track is the third single from his forthcoming album, 777, and it is another fierce dance floor anthem. Unlike his introspective musings on “If I’m Lucky,” his latest is all about getting up close and personal with a lover.

“Hold tight when you tiptoe. Shake something when you tiptoe. Don’t brace when you push that back. Left, right, do it just like that,” he commands on the infectious chorus. French Montana’s verse feels a little stale, but it fits nicely over the simmering production. Although the release is not as instant as “Talk Dirty” or “Wiggle,” the hitmaker likely has another club hit on his hands.

“Tip Toe” follows “Swalla” and “If I’m Lucky” from the LP. The project’s lead single struggled to take off on pop radio, but it became a solid streaming hit. Despite receiving a Michael Jackson-inspired music video, the second single floundered on the charts. Hopefully his latest offering will turn things around. Listen to Jason’s latest fiery bop below!
