The American Music Awards are pulling out all the stops to ensure they host the biggest musical event of the year. Most recently they have announced that Lady Gaga, Shawn Mendes and Nick Jonas are set to join an already star-studded list of performers including Pink, Selena Gomez, BTS and Christina Aguilera onstage Sunday (November 19).

Although Mother Monster is unable to attend the show in person, she will beam in a performance of her DJ White Shadow-assisted “The Cure” from her Joanne World Tour. The buoyant pop track signified another sonic shift from the hitmaker upon its release, but it has yet to receive a televised performance. Hopefully Gaga will be able to recapture the magic of her stripped back rendition of “A Million Reasons” at last year’s show.

After winning big at Sunday’s MTV EMAs, Shawn will continue his reign with a rousing performance of “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back.” The 19-year-old is also competing against Bruno Mars and Ed Sheeran in the Favorite Artist – Adult Contemporary category. Nick will perform his chilly EDM-laced single “Find You,” which will hopefully give the track a push on the charts. “One of my favorite shows to perform on. So happy to be back this year,” he tweeted out alongside his official announcement.

This year’s show is shaping up to be a massive event. The legendary Diana Ross is set to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award and deliver a performance of her own. Her daughter and Blackish actress, Tracee Ellis Ross, has signed on as the evening’s host. With additional performances from the likes of Kelly Clarkson, Demi Lovato and Niall Horan, things get more exciting every day. Check out the latest announcements below!
