Maluma On His Next Album & Cracking America
We speak to Maluma about his next, bilingual album and cracking America.

Maluma’s campaign for US superstardom begins tonight (November 16) with the release of Flo Rida’s “Hola.” The Colombian hitmaker lends his voice to the breezy banger, which taps into the Latin craze currently wreaking havoc on pop radio (“Despacito,” “Mi Gente” and “Havana” etc). “I just had to say hola, hola-la,” the rapper begins the party jam. “We should get acquainted like oh my, oh my God.” He then breaks the language barrier with a little flirting. “I don’t speak your language, but hey ma, hey mama, don’t need no translation.”

That’s where Maluma steps in deliver a couple of sexy verses, including one in Spanish. It’s feel-good fun with an instantly catchy chorus. What more do you want? The “Felices Los 4” hitmaker is due for a huge 2018. In addition to “Hola,” he’s releasing a new album called F.A.M.E. and embarking on a US tour, which kicks off in Washington, DC on March 23. The 23-year-old promised to deliver a bilingual era and has been in the studio with Timbaland. Listen to his new single below from midnight ET.
