The Star-Studded 'Bright' Soundtrack
The 'Bright' soundtrack contains new music from Bastille, Logic & Camila Cabello.

From hip-hop features to club bangers and a country anthem, Bebe Rexha has repeatedly proved that she can do anything. The “I Got You” hitmaker underlines that by somehow being the glue that keeps Machine Gun Kelly and X Ambassadors’ “Home” together. The collaboration is the latest cut from Bright: The Album, the star-studded soundtrack to the much-hyped Nextflix original. And like the other songs to emerge (Bastille’s “World Gone Mad” and Ty Dolla $ign, Future & Kiiara’s “Darkside”), it’s pitch black.

“I found no cure for the loneliness, I found no cure for the sickness,” Bebe sings with X Ambassadors frontman Sam Harris. “Nothing here feels like home.” That sentiment is elaborated on in MGK’s emo’s verses and the anthemic chorus. “Home — a place where I can go to take this off my shoulders, someone take me home.” Time will tell if Bright is a good movie or a complete turkey like Suicide Squad, but director David Ayer sure knows how to curate a soundtrack.
