Lady Gaga confirmed reports that she is preparing a series of shows in Las Vegas. Shortly after finishing the American leg of her Joanne World Tour, the 31-year-old took to Instagram to break the news today (December 19). “The rumors are true,” she captioned a photo of her signing a contract. The following photo offered more of an explanation as she wrote “I’m going to be a Vegas girl.”

The “Million Reasons” siren has signed a contract to bring a show to MGM’s Park Theater in Sin City. With fellow pop stars like Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez bringing their current residencies to a close, she will fill a void in the city and is bound to deliver an electrifying show.

“I am SO HAPPY and excited beyond belief to make my own brand new show here with my new Vegas family,” she wrote in another photo. Mother Monster generously thanked her fans and her team for helping to make this a possibility. “And I couldn’t have done it without my amazing fans, little monsters and team. We love you so much. Meet me in Las Vegas!! This is just the beginning of a new era!”

Rumors have been brewing for the last week about Gaga’s new residency. She is scheduled to start the European leg of her tour in January and will bring things to a close with a final show in Berlin on February 23. It seems likely that the hitmaker will begin planning her show after that, and she is bound to christen her new stage with a performance before the end of 2018. Check out the snaps below!
