The 50 Best Pop Songs Of 2017
From "Slow Hands" to "Bad Liar," we round up the best pop songs of 2017.

Justin Timberlake is getting in touch with his natural side on the cover of his forthcoming album, Man Of The Woods. Promo is heating up since he announced the project earlier this week, and it shows no signs of slowing down until the official release next month. Released today (January 3), the cover plays up the LP’s organic title. On it, two images of the hitmaker are combined to showcase what appears to be two warring selves. He poses in a modern black suit in a snowy forest for the top half and is in the midst of a peaceful meadow while rocking jeans and a flannel in the lower photo.

The “Can’t Stop The Feeling” icon has also provided a bit more information about the lead single. It is called “Filthy” and is set to drop Friday (January 5) alongside an accompanying music video directed by Mark Romanek. With production and writing credits from Timbaland and Danja, it is clear that JT is pulling out all the stops to ensure he has an absolute smash. Although the other promotional materials present him as a bit of a mountain man, it seems pretty likely that this will be more of a sleek dance track. “This is a song called ‘Filthy’ by Justin Timberlake. This song should be played very loud,” the cover reads.

“Filthy” is the first of four promotional singles that will be released between now and February 2. Each week Justin will unveil a new taste of Man Of The Woods, and it will be accompanied by a music video. An official press release has confirmed that he will be working with the likes of The Neptunes, Alicia Keys, Chris Stapleton and Timbaland and refers to the project as his most ambitious to date. Listing his wife, son and hometown as inspirations, it also seems like it will be his most personal.

2018 is off to a solid start for the 36-year-old as he prepares to headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show. He will take the stage for one of the most-viewed events of the year two days after unveiling Man Of The Woods, which is sure to provide the perfect platform for promotion. By then, it is safe to assume that “Filthy” will have dominated the charts. Check out the official covers below!
