Justin Timberlake Reveals An Exclusive Target Edition Of ‘Man Of The Woods’
Justin Timberlake is pulling out all the stops to ensure that his fifth LP, Man of the Woods, is a massive success. The hitmaker has been teasing new information every day this week since announcing the LP’s February release. Today (January 4) is no different. As we all wait to hear the album’s first single, “Filthy,” tonight, he shared some news about an exclusive edition of the album that will be available at Target.
Fans who purchase a physical copy of the LP through the retailer will have access to a handful of bonus features. Those include a poster, additional photos and a digital download of the album. Not only does the edition come with all these extra features, but it also boasts a slightly different cover. This one is shot in black and white and features the crooner in the midst of a forbidding forest. Dressed in all black, he is captured in an orange rectangle that matches the border around the album’s standard edition. Target will also be selling a limited-edition vinyl of the LP, and it features a matching orange disc.
“Target’s guests love Justin Timberlake—in fact, he’s one of our top selling music artists of all time,” Mark Tritton, Target’s executive vice president and chief merchandising officer, said about the collaboration. “We’re already seeing a lot of excitement for Justin’s upcoming album, and our guests will be thrilled to know they can find a number of exclusives—just for them—at Target when the album arrives on February 2.”
The edition will be available for pre-order starting tomorrow morning. This will come just a few hours after “Filthy” is released, which signifies the official beginning of the promotional campaign. The single is another artistic collaboration with Timbaland and Danja, and it sounds like it will be a surefire hit.
2018 is off to a solid start for the 36-year-old as he prepares to headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show. He will take the stage for one of the most-viewed events of the year two days after unveiling Man of the Woods, which is sure to provide the perfect platform for promotion. By then, it is safe to assume that “Filthy” will have dominated the charts. Check out the new cover up top and listen to a snippet of “Filthy” below!
