Coming Soon: Tinashe Shares A Preview Of A New Music Video
Tinashe is doing things big in 2018. She is gearing up to release new music, and today (January 16) we got our first taste of what to expect when it arrives. Last week, the 24-year-old announced she was unleashing a trio of songs. Titled “No Drama,” “Me So Bad” and “Faded Love,” it is rumored that they are off her long-awaited LP, Joyride. Her initial announcement promised the tracks were “coming soon.” But today we got official confirmation that at least one is dropping in two days and will be supported by a music video.
“On my way… 2 more days,” she promised alongside a preview of the accompanying visual. The teaser is set to a fierce instrumental that alludes to a more hip-hop direction. In it, the “Company” siren and a crew of dancers serve sultry looks in the bed of a pickup truck as they drive through a desert. She appears to be brimming over with confidence and is likely gearing up for another slickly choreographed feat. Not many of today’s pop divas can dance with Tinashe’s swagger, so she hopefully has something hot in the works.
It seems as though the budding superstar has the momentum on her side to net a solid hit this time around. After storming the Billboard Hot 100 with “2 On” in 2014, Tinashe has struggled to replicate that success. Despite unleashing a slew of pop and urban bops, her singles have failed to find traction. Rumors are swirling that she is set to feature Offset, French Montana and Future on the new music, so it is clear her label is pulling out all the stops to find a hit in the new year.
