Kylie Minogue Teases Her Boot-Scootin’ “Dancing” Video
Kylie Minogue’s “Dancing” video features, appropriately enough, a lot of dancing! The Aussie pop icon shared a preview of the clip ahead of its release tomorrow (February 1), saying: “I have danced more than I have danced in years.” That claim is backed up by the 37-second snippet, which shows the flawless 49-year-old line-dancing in full cowgirl regalia as well as individual dance breaks in a shimmery dress. It looks like a high-camp affair and already ranks as one of the hitmaker’s best visuals since the Aphrodite era.
The first single from Kylie’s Golden LP arrived in mid-January and shocked some commentators with its unexpected country/electro-pop sound. “Dancing,” which was produced by Sky Adams, has been warmly-received by fans who appreciate the track’s unexpectedly deep sentiment and got off to a solid start on the charts — debuting in the top 50 in both Australia and the UK. Not bad considering that it was something of a soft launch without performances or a video. Watch a sneak peek of the latter below.
