The Most-Anticipated Albums Of 2018
From Beyonce to Selena Gomez, we round up our most-anticipated albums of 2018.

Missy Elliott joins forces with Busta Rhymes and Kelly Rowland on a searing new single, “Get It.” Dropped today (February 2), the track marks her first release since she unveiled “I’m Better” last January. It has been more than a year, but she makes up for lost time with another memorable verse. Over a blistering beat, she and Busta deliver some fierce and confident lines while Kelly’s contribution is limited to an appearance on the chorus.

It seems like a bit of a wasted feature from the former Destiny’s Child siren. However, Missy’s contribution more than makes up for the missed opportunity. “Everybody looking when I step up in the spot. See the way I rock, I’m hot you’re not. Everybody wanna clock, man get off my jock. Everybody know Misdemeanor don’t stop, and my records don’t flop. Got the game on lock,” she spits. Once again the 46-year-old steals the show and proves her talent is as fierce as ever.

Although Missy hopped on social media to make it clear she was only featured on the track, “Get It” is sure to leave fans hungry for more from the femcee. It has been nearly 13 years since she dropped The Cookbook in 2005, and rumors have been swirling that a full-length album is in the works for years now. With highly anticipated female rap albums coming from the likes of Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, Iggy Azalea and Remy Ma throughout 2018, it seems possible we could be adding another project to our list. While we wait for news on a LP give the single a spin below!
