Jennifer Lopez returns to the game on her explosive new single, “Us.” Released today (February 2), the anthem is another massive pop moment in the style of “On The Floor,” and it is sure to fill dance floors across the globe. The 48-year-old included the song in her setlist when she performed at CaliBash 2018 last month, and she showcased some slick choreography to match the high-octane production. Now that we can hear the single in full, it is clear she has a potentially massive hit on her hands.

Over crystalline beats courtesy of Skrillex, the 48-year-old’s latest is a hopeful love song. As she falls under a partner’s spell in the midst of a club, the siren longs for something more. “I’m right here. Don’t wake me if I’m dreaming. Could you be the one without a doubt? Could I be for your keepin’,” she ponders over a pulsing beat. Things build up nicely on the chorus, and they eventually fizz over into a synth-and-drum-driven breakdown tailored for dancing.

“Us” is sure to receive prime placement in her setlist when J.Lo headlines DirecTV Now’s Super Saturday Night concert this Saturday (February 3). A fierce performance and an equally unforgettable video are sure to give the track a boost. With any luck she will kickstart a new era by storming the charts.

Delivering strong vocals and a fiery production, “Us” has all the makings for a smash. Rumor has it a Spanish remix featuring J. Balvin is also in the works. Considering that Jennifer is in the process of rolling out her second Spanish-language album, Por Primera Vez, it seems like a brilliant move to showcase the track’s versatility. It also looks like 2018 may see the release of a new English-language album, meaning double the hits. While we wait for confirmation, give her new single a spin below.
