Tinashe Returns With 'No Drama'
Tinashe relaunches the 'Joyride' era with a new bop called 'No Drama.'

Tinashe rebooted Joyride earlier this year with Offset-assisted single “No Drama.” After dropping a handful of pop anthems, that bop is a return to the slinky hip-hop/pop fusion of Aquarius — a trend that continues with “Faded Love.” Featuring Future and co-produced by Stargate, the 25-year-old’s latest is easily the best song of her very, very long sophomore era and could return her to the Billboard Hot 100 if radio plays along. She spoke about the banger with Zane Lowe and gave an update on the whereabouts of her album.

“It is done,” Tee insists. “My recording is done, I’m in the mixing process right now. So I’ve been you know talking to my A&R every day. Sending him mixes, the tracks. Our track list has been submitted so it’s real. It’s really real, I’m very very excited.” She even sheds some light on the next single. “Well we also have a couple of features on my next record which is French Montana and Ty Dolla $ign,” Tinashe reveals. How much content has she accumulated over the last three or so years? “I would say there’s been about three to four full album incarnations. So I’d say about upwards of 150 songs.”
