Kylie Minogue’s First Live Performance Of “Dancing” Was Incredible
Kylie Minogue’s first live performance of “Dancing” was something else. Wearing a white, rhinestone-covered jumpsuit and similarly-embellished cowboy boots, the pop icon belted out her new single on Ant & Dec’s Takeaway. She was ably assisted by a group of backing dancers and an enthusiastic audience that clapped along from beginning to end. (The whole thing was so infectious that the hosts joined in). The flawless 49-year-old began with a stripped-back intro, before partaking in a little line-dancing with her crew. It radiated fun.
It has been a big week for the “Timebomb” hitmaker with several key announcements (UK tour dates and a headlining spot at this year’s White Party in Palm Springs) and presenting duties at the BRIT Awards. Hopefully, tonight’s performance is the first of several in the lead up to the release of Golden on April 6. “Dancing” is a real grower and could turn out to be a sleeper hit if given a big enough push.
