The multi-talented Donald Glover can’t be put into a box. The singer, rapper, actor, director, and a few more things we will discuss, has built quite a resumé. It seemed like 2017 was finally his year thanks to many of his creative works finally gaining that appropriate attention. His hit TV show Atlanta earned him a couple Emmys after its first season. His album “Awaken, My Love” won a Grammy and was nominated for Album of the Year. From his early days on Community, it was only a matter of time before Glover’s unique talents would start to flourish in the spotlight. In 1983, a man who would later change his stage name to Childish Gambino came into this world. Donald Glover was born on an Air Force Base in California but would move to Stone Mountain, Georgia when he was a baby. But wait, wasn’t he ‘born in Atlanta?’. Yes, Stone Mountain is a suburb of Atlanta.

How else would he have gotten the inspiration to create one of his greatest works to date, Atlanta? The city of Atlanta must have influenced him in many different ways or else his list of accolades wouldn’t be so steep.
