Miley Cyrus will open the forthcoming Grammy tribute to Elton John. The “Malibu” siren was announced as a performer for the event, titled Elton John: I’m Still Standing – A Grammy Salute, in December. Taking place in New York City’s Madison Square Garden, it was filmed on January 30 and will air on April 10 on CBS. The 25-year-old also joined forces with the music legend onstage at the 2018 Grammys for a moving performance of “Tiny Dancer.” Today (March 13), she hopped on social media to reveal the role she would play during the tribute concert, and her contribution will undoubtedly be a standout moment.

“Proud to be opening the I’m Still Standing @eltonjohn #GRAMMYSalute April 10 at 9p.m., ET/PT on @CBS. Don’t miss it! #BitchIsBack,” she captioned her post. In the accompanying picture, she is rocking a studded bodysuit and is wearing an oversized pair of glasses emblazoned with Elton John’s name. She also posted a teaser from her performance, confirming that she’d be performing the 1974 hit “The Bitch Is Back.”

Other confirmed performers at the event include the likes of Kesha, Maren Morris, John Legend and Lady Gaga. A leaked setlist from the event has Gaga belting out a rendition of the iconic “Your Song” while Kesha is performing “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.” Country heavy hitters Little Big Town will take on “Rocket Man,” and SZA and Shawn Mendes are paying tribute to “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart.” The iconic hitmaker himself will perform some of his other songs either on his own or with an ensemble of guests. Check out Miley’s teasers below while we wait for the event to air next month!
