Tinashe Hits The Courts In Her Vibrant “Me So Bad” Video

Tinashe's Slinky 'Faded Love' Video
Tinashe shows off some fancy footwork in her dance-heavy 'Faded Love' video.

Tinashe hits the tennis courts in the video for her new Joyride single, “Me So Bad.” Released today (March 30), the Ty Dolla $ign and French Montana-assisted bop completes the much-teased trio of buzz tracks the “Company” siren announced earlier this year. Her latest anthem joins the previously released “No Drama” and “Faded Love,” and it is notably the most energized of the group. On it, she lays the ultimate trap and makes some seductive promises to a future lover. “You want some me so bad, come get this body,” she teases over the bouncy production. Unsurprisingly, the accompanying visual is equally coy.

In it, Tinashe delivers her best tennis pro impression. Rocking a Clueless-inspired yellow skirt and blond braids, she shows off her skills before joining her collaborators for some sexy moments. The vibrant visual features endlessly chic looks and a heaping dose of confidence from the 25-year-old. Unsurprisingly, the best parts of the video showcase her tight dance moves. She and a crew of dancers effortlessly execute several intricately choreographed breaks, and the pop princess is the absolute star of them all.

Boasting an alluring production and one of the more fun videos we have seen so far this year, “Me So Bad” could easily become a respectable hit for the “All Hands On Deck” star. Although they have received rave reviews, Joyride’s previous singles have not picked up on radio. It is surprising, especially considering that “Faded Love” is one of her strongest releases in years. With its energized beat, her latest may just become a spring-time hit in the weeks before her album drops.

Alongside the video, Tinashe shared some more good news for fans. Her LP is officially available for pre-order. Give the video a view up top and pre-order Joyride here!
