Kylie Minogue's 'Golden': Album Review
We dissect Kylie's country-pop reinvention on 2018's very good 'Golden.'

Kylie Minogue’s US promo campaign kicked off last night (April 25) with a lovely performance of “Dancing” on Late Night With Seth Meyers. Looking every inch a Golden goddess in a long, floaty dress, the Aussie pop icon took the stage with a full band and backup dancers. It was easily the best live performance of the slow-burn hit to date. Everything about this worked spectacularly well, from the pristine vocals to the cute choreography and yellow lighting scheme. And then she pulled out an old favorite.

I have to admit that I didn’t expect Kylie to perform “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head” on US TV in 2018, but the enduring diva belted out a new arrangement of the song as an exclusive for the show’s website. It was a pared-back, acoustic version that begins as a ballad before returning to something more recognizable in the chorus. If nothing else, she keeps us on our toes! Next up for the “Stop Me From Falling” queen is Good Morning America, followed by The Late Late Show With James Corden.

Watch her in action above and below.
