The rising British pop star's debut album is jam-packed with potential hits.

Anne-Marie has a smash on her hands with “2002.” Co-written with the pop dream-team of Ed Sheeran, Steve Mac, Julia Michaels and Benny Blanco, the 6th single (!) from the Brit’s debut album is already top five in the UK and rising. The nostalgic bop, which references several ’90s hits in the chorus, is sure to do the same in the US as soon as “Friends” has run its course. (The 27-year-old’s fiery collaboration with Marshmello is currently number 21 on the Billboard Hot 100 with a bullet).

The video for “2002,” which was directed by Hannah Lux, arrived today (May 8) and it finds the singer recreating iconic videos from the turn of the millennium including Britney Spears’ “…Baby One More Time,” *NSYNC’S “Bye Bye Bye,” Jay-Z’s “99 Problems” and Nelly’s “Ride with Me.” As such, it’s destined to go viral and propel the song to even greater chart heights. Anne-Marie’s debut LP, Speak Your Mind, dropped last week and it’s one of the most promising pop releases of the year. Check out Anne-Marie’s “2002” video below.
