Calum Lands A Hit With Robyn Cover
Calum Scott is charting with an acoustic cover of Robyn's 'Dancing On My Own.'

Calum Scott landed a surprise worldwide hit with an acoustic cover of Robyn’s “Dancing On My Own” and has done a good good of building on that momentum with followup singles, “Rhythm Inside” and “You Are The Reason.” The latter was even reissued as a duet featuring Leona Lewis and is still being work in the US. (They will perform it on Good Morning America on June 6). However, the Brit is ready to move on to single number four in the rest of the world and he’s going with the nostalgic “What I Miss Most.”

“It’s a complete tribute to my hometown,” Calum told Billboard. “The crest for my city is three golden crowns on top of each other, so when I say, ‘Under three crowns when I’m far away,’ I’m trying to basically say I’m proud of Hull, where I’m from. I’m always gonna have my roots and no matter where I go, I’m always gonna have that – almost like those three crowns travel with me.” Those feelings are well expressed in the video, which was directed by Ozzie Pullin. It shows the various stages of a man’s life from childhood to old age.
