Julia Is Seriously Lovesick On 'Jump'
Julia Michaels teams up with rapper Trippie Redd for catchy new single, 'Jump.'

Julia Michaels had a busy weekend. The singer/songwriter kicked things off by performing “Jump” on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Friday (May 18) and then headed to Las Vegas for the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday. The former was something else. Instead of delivering a typical late-night TV set with a few lights and a couple of dancers, she began the song backstage and slowly walked through the venue. And then the “Issues” hitmaker literally jumped off stage and continued singing live. The whole thing was next level.

Featuring Trippie Redd, “Jump” is the first taste of Julia’s debut album. It follows her critically acclaimed Nervous System EP and a string of killer features including Keith Urban’s “Coming Home,” Clean Bandit’s “I Miss You,” Maroon 5’s “Help Me Out” and Noah Kahan’s “Hurt Somebody.” In addition to that, the 24-year-old is still penning hits for other artists including Janelle Monae’s “Make Me Feel” and Anne-Marie’s “2002.” She even has a songwriting credit on Christina Aguilera’s Liberation! Watch Julia do her thing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! up top.
