Tove Lo, Charli XCX, Icona Pop, Elliphant & ALMA Team Up For “Bitches”
Tove Lo is leading a one-woman sexual revolution. When she’s not releasing explicit mini-movies, making out with puppets, dreaming up semi-scandalous album titles, flashing concert-goers or posing nude for publications, the Swede is releasing instructional bops about how to pleasure a woman. At least, that’s what I’m guessing her new single is about from the lyrics. “Let me be your guide when you eat my pussy out,” the 30-year-old preaches on “Bitches” — a new collaboration with Charli XCX, Icona Pop, Elliphant and ALMA.
While Rita Ora’s “Girls” was supposed to be 2018’s answer to “Lady Marmalade” until it exploded in a blaze of backlash, but I think Tove’s latest (due June 7) might succeed where that song failed. The lineup is impeccable (it has been statistically proven that ALMA makes everything better and I’m beyond ecstatic to get something new from Elliphant) and nobody does dirty dance-pop better than Tove Lo.
