Selena's Seductive 'Wolves' Video
Selena Gomez and Marshmello's 'Wolves' video is a dark and dreamy affair.

Selena Gomez has a surprise Song of the Summer contender on her hands with her post-breakup anthem “Back To You.” The track has racked up serious streams since dropping last month and is slowly making its way up the charts. Today (June 5), the 25-year-old gives the Ian Kirkpatrick-produced smash a bit of a promotional push by unveiling of its official video. After teasing the project with a series of dramatic stills over the course of the last week, it more than lives up to expectations. Boasting intricate costumes and an involved plot, it is her most engaging visual since “Bad Liar.” In it, the hitmaker goes from wall flower at a party to car thief as she and a new flame sneak away for a wild adventure. Hitting the road in the stolen car, the lovers travel to a picturesque meadow for some adorable posing.

However, their short-lived romance comes to a crashing halt once Selena realizes the police are after them. Burning the car to hide the evidence, she returns to reality and leaves her partner in crime behind. However, history has a habit of repeating itself. Once she gets back to the party, the night follows a similar path. “Back To You” is proving to be a grower, and the video is likely going to give it a push up the charts. The 13 Reasons Why soundtrack contribution has already cracked the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100. It is sitting just outside the top 10 on Spotify’s Global Top 50 and is performing similarly well on US iTunes. As it picks up on radio and receives a boost from video streams, it could easily become at least another top 20 hit. Check out the video up top and watch the lyric video below!
