Meghan Announces New LP 'Treat Myself'
Meghan Trainor is a shimmery goddess on the cover of third LP, 'Treat Myself.'

Meghan Trainor’s new era continues to take shape with the arrival of “All The Ways,” the fourth cut from Treat Myself (due August 31). Produced by Andrew Wells, the perky pop song finds the 24-year-old laying down the law. “Take me out dancing, don’t forget romance,” she coos in a verse. “And it’s been awhile since I’ve been your princess.” That leads us to the instantly catchy chorus. “If you love me, love me, love me like you say,” Meghan chides playfully. “Darling, tell me all the ways. Tell me all the ways.”

The pop star is really mixing it up this album. “No Excuses” was reminiscent of the feisty, R&B-tinged pop of “No” and “Me Too,” while “Let You Be Right” revisited the heady days of disco and “Can’t Dance” was informed by the ’80s (It’s her Madonna moment). “All The Ways” also feels like a throwback to a different time with its cute synths and pure-pop sensibility, but it also slides right into the 2018 soundscape.
