Petty! Taylor Swift Celebrates National Snake Day On Stage
Nobody does petty quite like Taylor Swift. After being called a snake by Kim Kardashian for possibly fibbing about Kanye West, the pop star took the theme and ran with it. She references the incident in her “Look What You Made Me Do” video as well as the stage design of her Reputation Tour and tour merchandise. As such, the 28-year-old wasn’t going to let the two-year anniversary of snake-gate go without marking the occasion. Step one, it seems, was parading around for the paparazzi with a snakeskin-print backpack.
Step two was more elaborate. While performing “Look What You Made Me Do” in Cleveland, Ohio, Taylor took the opportunity to remind everyone that she will never let this go. “Happy National Snake Day, my favorite day of the year!” the hitmaker exclaimed. So there you have it. In addition to raising pettiness to an art form, Taylor is enjoying the first organic, non-fanbase hit of the Reputation era with “Delicate.” This has turned out to be the ultimate grower and should crack the top 10 in the weeks to come.
