Dream Collab! Is Normani Working With Sam Smith?
Well, this is interesting. Normani posed for a pic with Sam Smith at a recording studio (below via Pop Crave) and it didn’t take long for fans to speculate about a duet. Of course, they might have just been in the same place at the same time. But we know that Sam is a dedicated Harmonizer, so the opportunity to collaborate with one of his queens must be tempting. Not only that, but it also makes sense musically. I can imagine their soulful voices coming together beautifully. Keep your fingers crossed!
2018 has been a banner year for Normani. Since signing a solo deal with Keep Cool/RCA Records, the 22-year-old has gone from strength to strength. She is currently sitting just outside the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Love Lies,” her slinky collaboration with Khalid. That song is still gaining momentum at radio and could climb a lot higher. It’s the perfect platform to launch an album or EP, which should be coming later this year.
