Ariana Grande and James Corden provided a new soundtrack for Titanic when the hitmaker stopped by The Late Late Show. The 25-year-old is kicking off a promotional tour ahead of the release of her fourth LP, Sweetner. Last night (August 13), she stopped by the late-night show to pull off an impressive feat. She and the host decided that it was time to breathe new life into the classic film. In just over 5 minutes, they scored the story with 13 pop songs including Lady Gaga’s “Just Dance,” One Direction’s “Steal My Girl,” Ed Sheeran’s “Shape Of You” and Pitbull and Kesha’s “Timber.” Dancing across a series of intricate set pieces, they reenacted central elements from the film. Of course, everything came to a close with a stunning rendition of Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On.” Serving vocals for days, Ari shined in the role of Rose.

The “Bed” diva is slated to return to the show for an appearance on Corden’s popular Carpool Karaoke segment August 15. And it seems safe to assume that the duo will work their way through a handful of her biggest hits as well as Sweetener’s two official singles. The euphoric “No Tears Left To Cry” has proven to be a breakout success and is still sitting comfortably within the Top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100. Meanwhile, her empowering “God Is A Woman” is sitting just inside the Top 40. After debuting at the number 11 spot, it will surely benefit from a performance or two. Grande will retake the stage August 20 at the 2018 VMAs, where she is expected to perform the anthem once again. If things keep up at this rate, I wouldn’t be surprised if the track rockets back up the charts in the coming weeks. While we wait for the siren’s new album, watch her in action below!
