Lost Hit: Lady Gaga's 'Gypsy'
The pop star missed out on a surefire hit with her anthemic 'Artpop' cut 'Gypsy.'

Lady Gaga delighted fans by posting a series of eerie, black-and-white images from photographer Eli Russell Linnetz on Instagram. The esthetic of the shoot falls somewhere between the Fame Monster and Born This Way eras. The horror chic of the former is present as well as the body modification that peppered the latter. Only this time, instead of prosthetics, PhotoShop stretches Mother Monster’s limbs out of all proportion and lengthens her nose. Hopefully, this is a sign that she’s about to get weird and wonderful again.

Before that, however, it looks like we might get a bit more of girl-next-door Gaga. The 32-year-old is eagerly awaiting the release of A Star Is Born, which includes several of her original compositions on the soundtrack. The “Million Reasons” hitmaker has also been working on the followup to Cheek To Cheek, her collaborative album with Tony Bennett. Happily, she is also hard at work on LG6 and has reportedly spent time in the studio with Sophie, DJ White Shadow and BloodPop. Revisit a Gaga classic below.
