The status of Imagine Dragons as the biggest rock band in the world was probably already assured, but the success of “Natural” cements it. The fiery stand-alone single, which positively seethes with rage, is currently sitting at number one on US iTunes after the release of a surprisingly gothic video. It begins with Dan Reynolds perched on a chair in a decaying southern mansion (in full period regalia) and becomes increasingly creepy from there with hands extending from a grave, scary kids and a Slenderman-type figure.

It’s still unclear is “Natural” is from an upcoming rerelease of 2017’s mega-successful Evolve or the first taste of a new project. However, it seems like there is still a lot of life left in the album. For starters, the opus is still in the top 20 of the Billboard 200 more than a year after release and they have only rolled out four singles from it including the smash hits “Believer,” “Thunder” and “Whatever It Takes.” Watch the elaborate video for “Natural” up top.
