The kings of K-Pop unite with the queen of rap in their latest video. BTS and Nicki Minaj made waves when they linked up for a remix of the septet’s current single, “IDOL.” The track appeared on their new album Love Yourself: Answer last month, and it debuted at the number 11 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. Today (September 6) they treated us with an alternative version of the official visual featuring the “Chun-Li” rapper. Draping herself in a boldly patterned suit and bobbing her neon green hair, she drops her verse in a vibrant room. Although she wasn’t able to get on camera with the group, her scene meshes well with the original footage. And fans are clearly ecstatic about the end result. In a little over two hours, it has already amassed more than 450,000 views.

The legendary group has plenty to celebrate right about now. They made even more history when they topped the Billboard 200 for a second time with their latest album. They also broke another record with the original “IDOL” video. After being viewed more than 45 million times in the first 24 hours, it now has the biggest music video debut in YouTube’s history. The group bested Taylor Swift’s shady “Look What You Made Me Do,” which was viewed 43.2 million times in its first day of release. At the time of publishing, the video has racked up more than 136 million views. All of these streams, and the addition of the new visual will likely help keep the track in the upper reaches of the Hot 100 in the coming weeks.
