Fergie Records Wendy Williams’ Theme Song Because 2018 Is Nuts
Just when you thought 2018 couldn’t get any wilder, Fergie goes and records the theme song for season 10 of The Wendy Williams Show. A fresh and funky twist on the familiar “I Feel It,” The Dutchess somehow turns it into a bop. “The Wendy Williams Show is so fun because it doesn’t take itself so seriously,” she elaborates in a teaser. “I just feel really comfortable with Wendy… I feel like everybody feels like Wendy could be their best friend, but you’re also there feeling fabulous and the thing that starts you feeling fabulous is the Wendy Williams theme song.”
Season 10 kicked off today (September 10), so be sure to pay extra attention to the soundtrack. You can also watch the teaser below. Apart from singing jingles, Fergie has been busy reestablishing her profile in the music industry after the disastrous chart performance of Double Dutchess. She signed up to host The Four and was recently snapped with the Black Eyed Peas, which is a sign that she might be rejoining the supergroup at some time in the future. I really hope the “M.I.L.F. $” hitmaker drops something new soon. Music is a more fun place with her in it.
