Avicii and Rita Ora's rising hit 'Lonely Together' gets a quirky music video.

It’s a pop miracle! After six years and several setbacks (including ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris torpedoing a finished project), Rita Ora’s sophomore LP finally has a release date. Phoenix drops on November 23 and will be preceded by a new single called “Let You Love Me.” The future hit is described as one of the Brit’s “most intimate tracks to date” and arrives on Friday (September 21). She also unveiled the strikingly simple cover — it’s just a closeup of her face — and a partial tracklist.

The album includes several previous hits including “Your Song,” the still-glorious “Anywhere” and the much-pilloried “Girls.” Rita’s high-profile collaborations are also well represented with “Lonely Together,” her club banger with the late Avicii, and her duet with Liam Payne, “For You,” making the cut. Given that the project has undergone several iterations since recording began in 2014, what can we expect? A little bit of everything, it seems. Phoenix is shaping up to be something of a retrospective of the last half a decade.

“One of the most liberating feelings for me is performing and creating music,” the 27-year-old says in the press release. “This album is a true labour of love, and it was important for me to do it my way. I’m so appreciative of the love and support from those who worked with me on the record and allowed me to create something I’m really proud of. They gave me the space and freedom to create something from my heart. Both challenging and euphoric at times, I am really proud of and grateful for the journey that the making of Phoenix has taken me on.”
