Everything Is Love! Beyoncé Reunites With Original Destiny’s Child Members

There’s no bad blood here! Last week, Beyoncé reunited with original Destiny’s Child member LeToya Luckett after a concert in Arlington, Texas and the nostalgic vibes continued in Houston when she reconnected with LaTavia Roberson. (Farrah Franklin is still at the airport looking for her luggage). Of course, the DC4 divas were cut from the legendary girl group after falling out with Mathew Knowles, but have both established successful careers of their own in music, acting and reality TV.

While social media was quick to interpret the cute catch-ups as signs that a Destiny’s Child reunion is one the horizon, I can’t really see it happening. Beyoncé has made it clear that the group is now comprised of her, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams through one-off singles (justice for “Nuclear”!) and that iconic Super Bowl performance. I’m not even sure how an extended DC5 would work exactly. That being said, the world needs another DC3 album. In the age of instant releases and minimal rollouts, they could easily squeeze something in between solo projects.
