Sia Announces 'Everyday Is Christmas'
Sia is the latest pop diva to record a festive LP, 'Everyday Is Christmas.'

The annual rush of Christmas albums starts early this year. And who better to usher in the festive season than Star Trek legend/acquired musical taste William Shatner? The 87-year-old is rolling out Shatner Claus, his first seasonal opus, on October 26. The album contains collaborations with Henry Rollins, Brad Paisley, Todd Rundgren, Rick Wakeman and Iggy Pop among others. If you’re yet to experience the veteran actor’s unique approach to music, his spoken-word version of “Jingle Bells” (below) gives you a pretty good idea of what to expect.

Believe it or not, William released his first album way back in 1968. And while The Transformed Man was listed as one of the worst albums of all time by haters like Q magazine, it won a loyal cult following and continues to win over new fans today. Since then, he has recorded an LP with Ben Folds and delivered a space-themed extravaganza called Seeking Major Tom. If you’re sick of hearing “All I Want For Christmas Is You” while devouring turkey and stuffing, this may (or may not) be the festive soundtrack for you.
