She’s back, Fighters! Last night (September 25) Christina Aguilera kicked off The Liberation Tour in Hollywood, Florida. It has been 10 years since the diva last toured North America, and it looks like the Unbreakable Flower held nothing back when she reclaimed the stage. Making up for lost time, she packed her beefy setlist with some of her biggest hits as well as content from this year’s critically acclaimed Liberation. This was evident from the very beginning. Taking the stage to perform the Kanye West-assisted “Maria,” the 37-year-old transitioned to her breakout hit “Genie In A Bottle.” After an interlude, “Dirrty” (performed in the iconic ass-less chaps) morphs into “Sick Of Sittin'” before heading back to the Stripped era for “Can’t Hold Us Down.” This trend of blending old and new continues throughout the show.

Underrated albums Bionic and Lotus also received a bit of love. Legend X worked her way through a trio of tracks off the former, including the timeless cunnilingus advocacy anthem, “Woohoo.” Despite implying that Lotus would be heavily featured in the setlist with her last photoshoot, the icon saved the fan-favored “Let There Be Love” for the end of the show (justice for “Your Body”). She also dusted off some of her biggest collabs including her star-studded “Lady Marmalade” cover and A Great Big World’s “Say Something.” True to her word, Xtina also graced fans with a taste of previously unreleased music during an interlude. However, the focus of the night seemed to be on introducing fans to her latest album.

Many of Liberation’s highlights made the setlist, including her Demi Lovato duet “Fall In Line” and the stunning ballad “Unless It’s With You.” That’s not all though. The diva delivered an emotional thank you to her fans who have stayed by her side over the course of her career. She also welcomed two fans onstage and looked on with glee as one proposed to the other. Balancing evocative moments with stunning vocals, dazzling costumes and impressive staging, it was a welcome return for the hitmaker.
