The superstar rolls out the fourth single from 'Reputation' and it's one of the best.

Are you ready for it? Today (October 2) Taylor Swift revealed that she will open the 2018 American Music Awards. The 28-year-old and her cat took to social media to break the news. “I’m opening up the American Music Awards with a performance of ‘I Did Something Bad,'” she wrote. “Meredith is not excited, but I am.” This is exciting news as it means Tay may be turning her attention toward the track as the next single off Reputation. The hitmaker landed a big hit with “Delicate,” which peaked at the number 12 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 after a steady climb up the chart. She already topped the chart with the rip-roaring lead single, “Look What You Made Me Do” and hit the number 4 spot with “…Ready For It?”.

All things considered, “I Did Something Bad” could easily land perform just as well, and she may make the announcement when she takes the stage October 9. She joins an already star-studded list of performers including the likes of Mariah Carey, Cardi B, Dua Lipa and Ciara. Mimi will deliver the live debut of her new single, “With You,” while the “I Like It” rapper will be joined by Bad Bunny and J Balvin to perform their chart-topping banger. Other performances to keep an eye on are Benny Blanco, Halsey and Khalid’s “Eastside” and Panic! At The Disco paying tribute to Queen. Meanwhile Cardi and Drake lead the field of nominees. Both nabbed eight nominations a piece, and the competition is expected to be fierce.
