Jonas Blue Taps Liam Payne & Lennon Stella For “Polaroid”
Jonas Blue is the busiest man in music. The UK producer is currently enjoying a global hit with the Jack & Jack-assisted banger “Rise” and rolled out a fresh overhaul of Bantu’s “Roll With Me” a couple of weeks ago. He will join the New Music Friday lineup again this week with “Polaroid” — a new collaboration featuring Liam Payne and rising pop star Lennon Stella. While the One Direction heartthrob needs no introduction, Lennon is at the beginning of her pop journey. Her debut single (a bop called “Bad”) dropped recently and it’s well worth a listen.
It will be interesting to see if “Polaroid” can turn things around for Liam in the US. The hits have kept coming for the 25-year-old in Europe, but he has lost momentum since cracking the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 with debut single, “Strip That Down.” If anything can win back radio, it’s a bone-rattling banger and no one does them better than Jonas Blue.
