Rita Announces 'Phoenix' LP
It's a pop miracle! Rita Ora's 'Phoenix' LP has a cover and a release date.

Rita Ora lands on the cover of issue 109 of Clash magazine and makes quite the statement, posing in leather gloves — and nothing else. The Brit is no stranger to nudity (never forget that shoot with Terry Richardson), but there’s a sense of empowerment to this cover that sets it apart. The hitmaker stares defiantly at the camera, letting everyone know that she’s the one in charge. And that pretty much sums up her new era. Rita is doing things on her terms and releasing the music she wants to make.

“I feel like I’ve just started, in the weirdest way,” the 27-year-old says in a preview of the cover story. “I know some people in the industry who I won’t name but who have messaged me to say, ‘You’re a badass for doing what you did.’ I earned a new found respect. Now, though, it’s time to put that stuff away and get this chapter going.” And it’s off to a flying start with a new single called “Let You Love Me,” which is one of her catchiest tracks to date.
