Future Hit: Jack & Jack Shine On “No One Compares To You”

Jack & Jack landed a massive hit with “Rise” earlier this summer. The Jonas Blue-produced bop is proving to be one of 2018’s most enduring anthems. After amassing more than 250 million streams on Spotify, it hit the number 3 spot on the charts in the UK and went Top 10 in several major global markets. And they are gearing up to do it all again. Today (October 5), the Vine-turned-pop stars return with their new single, “No One Compares To You.” It sounds like they have another smash on their hands. Over an infectious production, the duo drop some deceptively bittersweet lyrics as they struggle to get over a former lover.

“Thoughts of you and me keep passing by. Like ships in the night, we never collide” they croon on the opening lines. “Need you even after all this time. You can’t be replaced, even if I tried,” the hitmakers add before going on to explain just how stuck they are. “Every time I think I’ve found somebody, I just wish that somebody was you. There’s no way that someone else could make me feel the same way that you do. No one compares to you.” I wouldn’t be surprised if Jack & Jack dominate streaming services once again. “No One Compares To You” features another catchy production and is just as relatable as “Rise.” Hopefully this will be the track that reintroduces them to the Billboard Hot 100.
