Banger Alert! Dua Lipa & BLACKPINK’s “Kiss And Make Up” Is Seriously Hot

It looks like Dua Lipa has landed on her next mega-hit. The breakout star has spent the better part of the last year near the upper reaches of the charts in the UK. She hit the number 3 spot with her infectious “IDGAF” and conquered the globe with her Calvin Harris-assisted “One Kiss.” More recently, her Silk City collaboration, “Electricity,” sparked its way into the Top 5. And the 23-year-old could easily land yet another smash with her latest release. Today (October 19), she issued a new edition of her debut album. Billed as the Complete Edition, it includes some new material. Easily the most anticipated song on the LP is “Kiss And Make Up,” which features vocals from K-Pop Queens BLACKPINK. After one listen, it is clear that the anthem has eclipsed even the loftiest of expectations.

On it, the international superstars deliver a commendable performance over an incandescent production courtesy of Banx & Ranx. “We haven’t talked all morning. Bang my head, bang my head against the wall,” Dua frets on the opening lines. “Feeling we about to break up,” she adds. “Just wanna kiss and make up.” The ladies of BLACKPINK deliver equally fierce lines on the bilingual banger. With any luck, this will be released as a single in the coming months. If nothing else, I’m praying that everyone can get together to record an official video. Considering the incredible vial success of both “New Rules” and “DDU-DU DDU-DU,” I can hardly imagine how throughly a collaborative video would slay. Everyones weaves would be in danger.
