Nicki Minaj Is A Work Of Art In Little Mix’s Sizzling “Woman Like Me” Video
Little Mix has really come into their own as a girl group. The quartet’s music has improved with each album, and their visuals have come along in leaps and bounds. Take “Woman Like Me.” Co-written by Ed Sheeran and produced by Steve Mac, the slinky bop has racked up 20 million streams in less than two weeks and debuted at number 5 on the UK singles chart. That’s pretty impressive considering that they haven’t started promoting it yet (Little Mix will perform the song on the X Factor on October 28) and the video just dropped today.
Directed by Marc Klasfeld, the “Woman Like Me” visual finds the group at their sexiest and most fierce. They also manage to keep their sense of humor while serving a variety of looks and sizzling choreography. As for featured rapper Nicki Minaj, well, she is literally a work of art. In that she’s a painting that comes to life and spits a few bars. It’s always awkward when collaborators can’t be in the same room, but this gets around it nicely. Check out the first taste of Little Mix’s pragmatically-titled LM5 (due November 16) up top.
