Bruno Mars' '24K Magic': Album Review
Does Bruno Mars deliver 24K gold on third LP '24K Magic'? Read our review.

While Bruno Mars is close to winding up the 24K Magic era (the blockbuster tour winds up on New Year’s Eve), he isn’t exactly taking it easy. The superstar recently hopped on Gucci Mane’s “Wake Up In The Sky” along with rapper Kodak Black. Not only that, but he co-produced the feel-good party anthem and directed the just-released video. As such, it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise that the visual reflects the “Finesse” hitmaker’s retro aesthetic. There is fly ’70s fashion, old-school choreography and lots and lots of bling.

The video should propel “Wake Up In The Sky” even higher on the Billboard Hot 100. The smooth collaboration has already cracked the top 30 on the back of massive streaming numbers (70 million streams on Spotify and counting) and should continue to rise as radio airplay and YouTube views start factoring into the equation. “Wake Up In The Sky” is the latest taste of Gucci’s upcoming Evil Genius LP, which is expected to arrive in December. Check out the super suave video up top.
