Fans of The Greatest Showman are in for a serious treat. Today (November 16), some of the biggest names in pop got together on The Greatest Showman Reimagined. A sister album to the mega-selling soundtrack, it is comprised of 13 reinterpreted versions of the beloved songs. We are already familiar with several of the covers, starting with Kesha’s take on “This Is Me.” Released last December, the cut appears on a deluxe edition of the tracklist. She links up with Missy Elliott and Keala Settle for another update, but her original will always demand attention.

The rest of the material is significantly newer. Pink’s soaring interpretation of “A Million Dreams” surfaced last month and would sound perfectly at home on pop radio. Her contribution is even sweeter when paired with a reprise by her daughter, Willow Sage Hart. Kelly Clarkson’s “Never Enough” remains a clear highlight. One of the soundtrack’s defining ballads, it was originally performed by Loren Allred. It is a daunting arrangement, but the original American Idol is more than up to the challenge. Her take is a masterclass on vocal excellence and should be played on repeat.

Every act brings something new to the mix. Panic! At The Disco adds a rocking edge to their take on “The Greatest Show.” The rollicking anthem is undeniably fun, and it is a serious sing-along moment. A cappella supergroup Pentatonix also hopped on a new version of the track. It is a little breezier but just as unforgettable. Meanwhile, Zac Brown Band’s adds some twang to “From Now On”, and Craig David puts a smooth twist on “Come Alive.” Sara Bareilles sounds utterly ethereal on “Tightrope.” Another ballad, this one features lush keys and the “Armor” hitmaker’s heavenly voice.

The remainder of the tracklist is comprised of duets. Years & Years partners with Jess Glynne for an electrifying interpretation of “Come Alive.” The funky beat and electro-kissed production resonates with joy and feels incredibly fresh. This feel-good version is my favorite take on the track. “The Other Side” is equally effective. Here MAX and Ty Dolla $ign land a crossover bop. However, the most successful duet may be James Arthur and Anne-Marie’s gorgeous reimagining of “Rewrite The Stars.”

The Brits find an easy chemistry on the rousing love song. And it is on perfect display in the newly released music video. In it, the pair are joined by a crew of acrobatic dancers for a lively performance. The end result feels very on-brand for the project and could not be more lovely. Hopefully they are able to get together for a live performance in the near future. It would surely be a knockout. Press play on the album below and pick a favorite cover below!
