Rita Ora is not playing any games with Phoenix. The 27-year-old is preparing to unveil her long-awaited sophomore album Friday (November 23), and it is shaping up to be one of the best pop efforts of the year. We have already heard several anthems off the tracklist including the incredible “Anywhere,” current single “Let You Love Me” and buzz track “Velvet Rope.” No, the latter is not a Janet Jackson cover. However, it is still very good, as is the hitmaker’s new buzz track, “Cashmere.” Arriving today, her latest is a sexy slow-burner. On it she sings about leaving her cashmere sweater behind in a lover’s home so that she has to come back for another encounter. The sensual bop is more than enough to keep you on your toes for the LP’s arrival later this week.

That’s not all though. The “I Will Never Let You Down” superstar also stopped by BBC Radio 1 for a Live Lounge performance. There, she delivered a stripped-down rendition of “Let You Love Me.” It feels like a smart move as the anthem has already went Top 5 in the UK. With a bit more promo, it may climb even higher in the coming weeks. Could the diva have her fourth number one on her hands? We’ll have to wait and see. Per tradition, Rita also treated fans to a cover. She selected Charlie Puth’s “Attention” but mixed things up by interpolating elements of Estelle and Kanye West’s 2008 bop, “American Boy.” It was a fresh move that breathed new life into the production. Give “Cashmere” a spin up top and check out her latest performances below!
