Njomza got her big break when the late Mac Miller discovered one of her covers online and immediately signed her to his REMember Music label. After featuring on the rapper’s Divine Feminine LP, the 24-year-old continued to make waves in 2017 with an EP called Sad For You. She recently signed to SinceThe80s/Motown Records and dropped the much-anticipated followup, Vacation. A slinky R&B anthem, “Lonely Nights” is one of the many highlights on the EP. A video arrived today and it encapsulates the Kosovan/American singer’s concept of escape.

“I had a vision for the ‘Lonely Nights’ video and Chad helped amplify that vision,” Njomza says in reference to director Chad Tennies. “I was playing with the concept of ‘vacation’ and how a vacation can be anywhere or anything. I can take vacation in my mind all from the comfort of my couch. The video really introduces that concept, which is a theme throughout the EP. It’s the beginning of the visual story.” Get familiar with the breakout star below. She’s shaping up to be One To Watch in 2019.
